Mukesh J Mowji, principal of Silver Creek Hospitality, a hotel development and management company in Silicon Valley and an investor in several IT start-ups, belongs to a family that has been in the hotel business in the US since 1969.
Born in South Africa, he moved with his parents to the US when he was just 10. Although he doesn't have any business interests in India yet, Mowji has long followed India's growth story and is especially interested in Gujarat.
